Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Infinite Hypnotherapy. By booking an appointment, using our website, or participating in therapy sessions, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions, which are designed to safeguard your interests as a client.
Commitment to Therapy
Hypnotherapy is a joint effort that requires dedication from both the client and therapist to achieve the best results. By committing to a therapy program, you agree to actively participate in the process, including listening to audio recordings as recommended.
Sessions
Duration
Each session is approximately 60 minutes, except for smoking cessation sessions, which last between 90 and 120 minutes. An initial consultation of about 30 minutes is provided free of charge.
Fees
The session fee is detailed on www.infinitehypnotherapy.com. Please be aware that while I aim for the best outcomes, results cannot be guaranteed. Fees are charged for my time and expertise, regardless of the outcome.
Location
Sessions take place at the Urban Wellness Hub, Aberdeen.
Appointments
Booking and Payment
Appointments must be booked in advance. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your session.
Changes and Cancellations
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment; otherwise, 50% of the session fee is payable. No-shows will incur the full session fee. Cancellations must be made by calling 07383 883 561.
Late Arrivals:
Please inform me if you are running late. I will accommodate you if possible, but the session may still end at the scheduled time, and the full fee is payable.
Initial Assessment
Before beginning therapy, we will complete a questionnaire detailing personal, medical, and lifestyle information that may affect your treatment. Please update this information if there are any changes. Note that hypnotherapy is unsuitable for those with epilepsy within the last 2 years, dementia, or certain psychiatric conditions (for example schizophrenia or psychotic episodes). Recent cardiac events or surgery would have to be cleared by a doctor first.
Confidentiality
All information collected is confidential and used solely to provide the best possible care. Exceptions to confidentiality include:
- Risk of harm to yourself or others.
- Disclosure of child abuse.
- Membership in a terrorist organisation or involvement in money laundering.
- Court orders compelling information disclosure.
Records are securely stored and not shared with third parties. Supervision may involve case discussions, but identifying details will be omitted.
Standards of Behaviour
I am committed to providing respectful and professional therapy. Clients agree not to harm themselves, others, or property, and to avoid attending sessions under the influence of alcohol or drugs (other than those prescribed). I reserve the right to refuse sessions in cases of inappropriate behaviour.
Guarantees
Hypnotherapy requires client commitment and motivation. While success cannot be guaranteed, most clients achieve positive outcomes. Estimated session numbers will be discussed at the initial consultation and may vary based on individual needs.
